Relax While Traveling By Air | AICA College ParkTraveling is a great way to getaway and relax and be stress free but if not prepared, traveling can cause some stress to the body. When traveling in the sky by plane reduced air flow, stress from traveling, people on board, and even some indigestion can make for a bumpy flight. Although this may make flying sound stressful, there are ways to get ahead of the game to make your trip smooth sailing!

What To Think About When Flying

Drink: Airplanes typically recirculate air which means that the air will feel dry which will make you thirsty. Staying hydrated will help combat that dry air and help you feel full on longer flights.

Fast: On some long flights, eating may be a way to pass the time but this could cause indigestion or gas and on a plane that may be uncomfortable. If you can, try to skip the snacks all together and drink water to stay hydrated and wait to eat until you are off the plane to avoid any issues with your stomach.

When flying you are going to be exposed to many different people who many have many different germs or illnesses so taking some precautions to boost your immune system may not be a bad idea. Bring disinfecting wipes to clean off common areas that you are subjected to or take some immune boosters like vitamin C or probiotics to avoid getting sick before your big trip!
